My name is Alison Lomax. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1987, after undertaking my nurse training at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals on the Wirrall. I worked at Billinge Hospital on the male and female wards for over 10 years. I started work as a Practice Nurse in Wigan 11 years ago after completing my Special Practitioner Diabetes and Asthma Diplomas at John Moores University in Liverpool. I worked briefly at the Walk-In-Centre, where I gained valuable experience in minor illness. I have been working at the surgery as a practice nurse since 2005.
